PBS AGD

PBS AGD is an axial retrievable mechanical packer with bilateral pressure perception, which is set by unloading the tubing.
The packer is equipped with two anchors - lower mechanical and upper hydraulic. The patented design of the lower anchor does not require additional axial tensions to move the packer from the transport position to the lsetting position.
The packer is transferred from the tripping state to the setting state by means of axial manipulations of the tubing. For setting, it is necessary to raise the tubing to a height of at least 24 inches mm and then unload it with a weight of at least 17,700 lbs. The release of the packer is carried out by direct lifting of the tubing.
The PBS-AGD packer is equipped with an end-type bypass valve that controls the flow between the under and above the packer zones and allows equalizing the pressure before stripping. A built-in differential lock helps keep the valve closed at high pressures.
