The sand pump is a downhole assembly consisting of a piston pump, suction and discharge
valves, a container made of pipes for cuttings and a tip for shock-rotational impact on
the bottomhole.
This assembly is designed to clean wells from sand plugs.
The method of action is to create a pressure difference between the annulus and the pipe,
by means of reciprocating movements of the tubing string, rigidly connected to the pump
piston.
• Minimum dimensions
• RIH & POOH on the tubing
• Reliable locking element design
• The possibility of impact and rotational effects on the sand plug
